Doc kung alam mo yung racer bike na ten speed, hindi ba dalawa yung plato nyan then 5 gears sa likod? Yung overdrive parang yung dalawang plato. Kaya it affects your engine RPM. The reason why you would want to turn off the overdrive going down is to help in engine braking.
