Hi Guys.
Tagal ako di nakapagpost (and nakapagdetail ng car ko). Kagagaling ko lang sa sakit and my car was pretty much neglected for around 3 weeks.
Since the paint is pretty dirty, I washed the car today and tried a cleaner wax. I tried the zymol cleaner wax since I still had an unused bottle that came with the zymol QD I bought a few months back (before I got to know EO Wet Wipe and Shine).
I was not expecting much since its a cleaner wax and its a cheapo zymol . I was surprised by the results. The resulting gloss was great and the paint pretty slick and clean too! Sorry I was not able to take pictures but I was really impressed by the result. It looked much better than 2x coats of IHG. I was not able to see if it filled my light swirls (but the description claims to be able to "remove" light swirls and scratches. Not sure if this is true though.)
I used the cleaner wax with my K600 plus a 6.5" LC DA Pad (white and flat). I worked it in like a glaze and removed it before it dried. I even sprayed it with a mist of water prior to buffing (as indicated in the instructions).
I'm sure it would not really compare with the high end waxes but I was amazed with what a 299 peso product (that comes with a QD that was decent for claying) could produce. Since its a cleaner wax, I'm not expecting durability so I'll be topping it with Mom's phase 3 tomorrow.
Theveed: Thanks pala for your answers to my questions in Detailing Basics and FAQs list thread. Dami ako natutunan! Sorry no check. ehehehehe.

Hey patopig, nice meeting you pala pre. I was able to use the 6.5" pads, laki ng difference, parang bumigat yung ROP hehehe, well tried using it to apply the 3M Show Room Wax, it was a pleasure to use, pantay yung pagkalagay ng wax and since it is bigger than the 3M pads I can cover more area. Overall its a nice pad to have in your detailing arsenal. Next time I'll try it with a paint cleaner.

darn, ang hirap pala mag-detail. Took me 2-1/2 hours to finish from wash/clay/wax.
If so, hanef!!!

Karding: 2 1/2 hours to wash/clay/wax is actually pretty efficient. I normally take around 4-5 hours to finish all those.
I'm not sure about the Petrol Red being the same as the USDM Vibrant Red. Iba ata eh.. BTW, I saw your white 2.3 MZ3 sa TeamRage! Nice!
ILD: Nice meeting you too dude. Oks nga yung pad no? Much easier to use than the waffles and produces more consistent results. I hope ShinyMama offers more of these pads. I heard the orange is the most versatile.

1. wash my car with dishwashing soap.
2. use mother's clay bar. side to side motion or back and forth motion only. make sure the surface is really wet.
3. Use z2 with zfx( fast activator ng zaino) back and forth motion and/or side to side only. Use an appicator pad na basa ng z6 pra tipid sa wax.
4. wait 30 mins to 1 hour try mo i wipe ng finger mo para malaman mo kung dry na o hindi. wipe off the wax and use z6.
5. tapos nun apply ka ulit ng z2 with zfx o z5(polish) with zfx then wait ka ulit ng 30 mins to 1 hour before you wipe it of then apply ka ng z6.
6 last wax na to for the day. apply ka ulit ng z2 with zfx then wait till it dries tapos wipe it off then use z6. tapos leave it like that for 24-48 hours para magsettle yung wax sa paint.
You can use the zaino waxes as often as you want since it's not gonna ruin your paint. tapos nyan eto na yung result. ako nakaka 18 coats na since last year pa..

I disagree and wouldn't advise that. Additives get used up too, so topping up with the proper...
Coolant...
