tire pressure at 35? hindi ba sobra tigas ng ride nyan? mine is 28 only, as suggested by the tire dealer. i installed kasi 225/70 series nexen tires.
Not really, less rolling resistance. BTW you increased your tires diameter and width, your odo reading might a bit off.

    How much for the tires?

Yourman you might want to reconsider your tires. Parang wala sa specs which will affect your fuel consumption.

oo kasi tingin ko pag 225/60 kna dapat e kasi pag nilaparan mo ninipisan mo dapat para patas parin pati sa speedometer mo de magbabago
yung stock kasi is 215/65 so 225/60 ata dapat

may website para ma-compute yang tire size. teka lang ma-post mamyang gabi. nasa house comp. ko.

iluvdetailing: angtire pressure ko ay 30. i read somewhere about fuel saving tips, you should inflate your tire at least 2 psi over the recommended pressure. sa xty natin ang recommended pressure ay 28 kaya 30 ako lagi.

A stock tire 215/65/15 changed to 225/70/15 will have a 5% reduction in rpm or if you are traveling 60mph, you are actually going 63mph. Yourman what is the rim size that you used? Did you changed the stock rims?

    Tire Size Comparison

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
    215/65-16 5.5in 13.5in 27.0in 84.8in 747 0.0%
    225/70-16 6.2in 14.2in 28.4in 89.2in 710 5.2%

Seems that the change in tires would result in lesser rev/mile than the stock tires, does this mean savings in fuel?

I didnt change the rims, I retained the stock rims. Actually I was lookin for 235/70 or 235/65 tires but these are hard to find here. So i settled with the 225/70 tires.

The dealer was offering 235/60 so as not to change the diameter size of the tires from the stock, but i really wanted to increase it to make it taller. shall nissan casa re calibrate the computer program to be consistent with the change in tires?

By the way, i increased the tire pressure to 30 psi as advised by some of you. thanks for the advice. please dont hesitate to give more gas saving tips.

    thanks.

Yourman I think your new tiresize is same as RAV4. I don't know what is the effect though.
