Just engine washed my Dad's CRV last sunday, I ran out of Armol All so I just wiped down after washing, I covered the Alternator with rag and plastic, covered the area around the MAF sensor with plastic so that area is still a bit dusty.
Sorry for the blurred pics, just used my camera phone.

I Like this thread.. I am planning to do a detailing for my REVO..now before i'll start doing this what are the materials needed for a detailing job. Sa ngayn kasi, ordinary car shampoo lang gamit ko (mess-out) , chamois, sponge , franela and a carnuba wax..(yung nasa yellow na lalagyan,,forgot the barnd) , plus I havent try doing engine wash,, ang ginagawa ko lang ay punas2 lang sa makakaya kong abutin..natatakot naman akong DIY baka may mabasa na hindi naman dapat.. Thanks a lot..

May 31st, 2005 12:38 PM #313so hindi advisable na ipapaint protection ang newly painted na vehicle. problema ko kasi walang covered garage yung sasakyan bilad sa araw and ulan kaya gusto ipapaint protection. how about washing ok lang ba?

unfortunately, glaze isn't very durable but that should hold up if you apply it regularly after washing until you can do some detailing work to your car.Last edited by chain; May 31st, 2005 at 01:44 PM.

ILD: nice work. sayang walang dressing to spruce up the engine bay! kung may armor-all tire foam ka po or any similar dressing, that would have taken your engine detail over the top.

Jeff: you can also try 3M Imperial Hand Glaze. Follow the instructions at the back. And remember, in thin coats palagi.
