My undercoat looks okay when I checked the wheel well areas. The problem is umulan ng malakas last night so I am not sure if the coat will last (given the more or less 7 hours curing time). Hu3! Sana hindi masayang ang hard earned money ko.

For the sake of those guys who are looking for Nelson, the guy who used to undercoat at chieffy's MARC Caltex station on P. Gil, I have finally found him (with much help from sir chieffy ronald of course). He's at the Caltex station right before Lambingan Bridge on New Panaderos, if you're coming in from Quirino or Sta. Ana Church.

I have talked to him. The station where he works also offers 3M undercoating. But what is important is that it is Nelson who will be doing it. Meticuloso kasi si Nelson, eh. So, I would prefer that he does the undercoating on my car. One of these days, I will have it done. Just have to make sure that it does not rain on that day.

OT: how about rust proofing? is it advisable na mag pa rust proof sa mismong pinagbilan ng sasakyan? like sakin kasi sa isuzu ang cost daw for the rust proofing is 3K+, i dunno kung undercoat ang tawag dun sa unang nilagay nila and sabi nila pwede daw alternate yun as rustproof like. dalin ko daw after 3months para mapa rust proof.. or mas ok sa labas at mas mura? saan ba pwede mag pa rust proof manila,qc area. yung mura,maganda yung service and maganda yung kino-coat nila. tag ulan na din kasi eh and flood flood flood.. :D thanks!

due na din car ko, i had it underwashed 2 weeks ago and there is already a 6" diameter spot right after the front wheels that had begun to flake off. it was not there last time.

how about those diy spray in cans? effective ba yun? anyone did this before? how do you prep it?
