That's horrible, but I agree with Ry that parents like that are exceptions. Hence the kasabihan "isusubo na lang ibibigay pa sa anak"

I see a bit of a generational reaction to the Yulo family tiff on social media.

Millennials / Gen Y, and Gen Z tend to be against Caloy's mom, stating the recurring pinoy theme of using kids as "retirement plans" and that parents should not be meddling in their kids' affairs especially if the kids are already earning. They're the ones making memes about this as well.

It seems most Gen X and Boomers posts tend to be anti-Chloe and pro-mommy. I see some posts stating "nanay mo pa rin yan", "pinagpalit mo nanay mo sa babaeng haliparot", etc.

Tutal kaya naman niya masikmura na ilabas yun away nila ng pamilya niya then why not use them again to his advantage.

Yes, he should have jumped out, made a perfect landing and hugged the dad. Or brought the dad to Malacañang. But your way would have a bigger impact.
