I assume the mother is one of those Filipinas who go after Caucasians to get out of poverty. They struggled with money UNTIL Bea became successful in showbiz.

I would expect parents who came from wealth to expect their children to do the same pero Bea's mother grew up poor, so she should be more understanding and not expect her daughter to "marry up" Plus ilan lang ang Billlionaire bachelors sa Pilipinas?

Eh yun nga ang isang rumored issue ng hiwalayan, yung pre-nup. Also that's useful when they separate. But how about provision and lifestyle. The spouse who has less still benefits financially from the marriage. And it is expected for the man to be the provider.
