Sabi ng lawyer friend ko madalang daw madismiss sa fiscals office ang rape.

Sinasampa daw straight sa court.

Kasi nga usually sa rape case eh yung rapist (accused) at yung na-rape lang. Kaya binibigyan ng benefit of the doubt yung babae kasi sino ba naman daw magpapakahiya.

I PERSONALLY know someone that lied about being abused, I was the ONLY person that did not believe her but my family did. In the end, the truth came out and she admitted to lying about it. She was clinically diagnosed as a sociopath BTW. I'm a woman but I don't automatically take the side of other women. I don't know if it's because I was raised by a good man (my Dad) kaya hindi automatic sakin na lalaki parati ang at fault.

Not a good witness in any hearing if you ask me. hehe, madali ma-impeach as being not a credible witness. Malversation is a crime involving moral turpitude. 2007 case yun, 2014 yun kay Vhong-Deniece, any lawyer worth his salt will use that lalo na at denied na yung MR ni Cedric.

Kung binugbog lang nila yan at sinabi na sisiraan kapag nagsumbong, baka wala pa ginawa si Vhong. Mapapahiya siya eh. Kaso gumawa pa kuwento eh, pinapakulong pa. Less serious physical injury lang sana kaso vs public humiliation and family ridicule plus possible financial losses kasi masuspend si Vhong. Maria Clara doctrine has been abandoned naman in the actual case, pero my reaction is to the fact na kaya hindi nadidismiss yang mga ganyang case sa level ng fiscal. Kasi usually eh dalawa lang silang eye witness. Kasi kung meron pa ibang eye witness for the rape victim, no bail yan. Kaya kapag nakapag-bail, usually alam mo na dahil sa wala naman ibang eye witness.

Same sa AVAWC Law, medyo hassle talaga pero lesson is huwag mangharass ng ex or manakit ng kapwa. Basic naman kasi kaya ganun. Pero hindi unfair yan imho. Kasi sa AVWC need ng 2 battering cycle eh kapag physical violence. So talagang loko-loko lang makukulong dahil dyan. Sa moral damages naman eh dapat pinaasa ka ng husto at sinaktan ng husto or pauli-ulit. Actually yung nakakatakot dyan is yung moral damages due to stress kung niloko nang BF. Pasok sa AVAWC yan kung notorious or flagrant yung pambababae. Kaso wala pang kaso na decided kung ang pag-uusapan lang eh emotional stress na dahil sa chicboi.

May twin embryos na pala si Heart kaya she's not in a hurry to have children, she could have the twins anytime or even pay for a surrogate. Heart carried twins in 2018 but lost both of them some time after her pregnancy announcement.

It was “the most traumatizing feeling” for the multihyphenate. “I carried my twins four months after because my doctor wanted me to naturally go through the process. It was the most horrible feeling thinking maybe God can bring them back to me… or me thinking I am not a good person for this to happen,” she said in a social media comment in 2020. “Now me trying after a year or so is my choice but not having a baby as of the moment is God’s choice and I wouldn’t want to question that.”

Fast forward two years, she revealed to L’Officiel that she has undergone in-vitro fertilization, which turned out to be “one of the toughest, challenging times” of her life. Her body did not react well to the medicine she was injected with, making her suffer from its side effects even a few weeks later.

“With IVF, they inject you with fertility hormones. It was very difficult and painful. I had three injections a day over a two-week process. After harvesting and the processes that came after, they were able to gather the perfect boy and the perfect girl,” she told the magazine.

Her eye-opening experiences with her previous pregnancy and IVF procedure sparked a strong epiphany about entering motherhood. “It made me realize, am I ready for a child? So, I actually have a baby boy and a baby girl waiting for me, but I’m really at this stage in my life where (I ask myself), ‘Do I want a child because I want a child?’ or ‘Do I want a child because the environment or culture dictates that I should have a child?’”

Noting she’s not in a state of rebellion, Heart opened up about feeling brand new later on. “I feel that this alone is changing me as a person. I’m standing up for myself. It’s liberating to decide according to what I want and not what other people want. That has changed me dramatically.”

Above everything, the actress believes it’s important for women to have the freedom to choose their paths. “I think having a choice is good and I really suggest that women (pursue this option) because it buys them time. Any time they decide on having a child, the embryo is there. Whether you decide immediately or five years from now, there is no deadline.
