Yes. My hearing still almost catches the full audio frequency but I'm having a hard time focusing on the story, whether movie or news, when there's no CC.

Sometimes I will try watching without CC, but then I would miss a phrase or a word or two, and I would be back to watching with CC again.

My favorite setting for CC is:

Font Size: 75% (at 100%, font is too in your face)
Font Opacity: 75% (so it won't be too glary especially with a dim background)
Font Color: Green (used to be that the default CC for TV is green)
Background Opacity: 50% (so it doesn't cover the background so much)
