This wonders me a lot that is also my perception the more careful you are the greater risk you will get infected. Maybe careful people has a lower immune system?

It just a matter of time talaga… kung kelan ka mahahawa…

Maybe nahawa na pero asymptomAtic or hindi pa talaga…

Parang yung virus is waiting for one mistake move sa isang tao and boom, aatake na…

If tech can develop yung virus scanner sa sorrounding like yung blue light para makita mga stain ng blood kahit nilinis na… or yung ads ng lysol na pinapakita yung virus in the air and how it kills the virus by spraying with lysol… mas madali siguro mapatay virus before it can enter into our body….

What I learned from Cathy's case eh it's not enough na ikaw lang nagma mask dapat lahat ng tao sa paligid mo. So sabi ko sa Wife ko, kung may pupuntahan kami lugar at makita namin marami hindi naka mask eh back out kagad. Kaya whenever we will do our grocery eh mid week, wala masyado tao.

Since the start of this Pandemic, its always been emphasized that mask are primarily used to prevent asymptomatic infected people from spreading the virus. The virus gets trapped in the mask. The mask secondary role is to prevent people from inhaling the mask but is determined by the mask properties and if they are properly worn.
Tama yung if you see a lot of people without mask or lowered mask below the nose then chances are if any of them are asymptomatic then the virus present in the air at that area is greater hence higher chance of getting infected.

way before this pandemic people in some asian countries (Japan, Taiwan, Korea) wear mask when their sick coz nasa kultura nila meron sila regard sa ibang tao

ung ayaw nila makahawa or ayaw nila isipin ng ibang tao wala sila paki sa ibang tao

the rest of the world doesn't seem to have any concept of that

ang thinking pala ng karamihan is mask = self protection

coz wala sa kultura ang regard sa ibang tao

the concept of "i wear mask to protect you, you wear mask to protect me" is new to many people

sa kultura kasi natin "may sipon ako, ano paki ko sayo"

    "bahala kayo kung mahawa kayo"

Since the beginning, it has been pointed out naman na masks does not protect the wearer, it protects others. Unless naka N95 ka na properly fitted, or mag gas mask ka.
