Reading this entire thread kept me awake all night... BUT EXCITED.

I'm in the process of selecting which ride will replace my current one and it looks the CX-5 is THE ONE.

If you want an SUV with the best driving dynamics, CX-5 is definitely the best choice!

The base/cheapest variant 2.0L is not shown anymore at the Mazda PH website. The 2.5L and Diesel engines are the only available options.

Actually looking at an older model 2013 or 2014 up. Anything I should be wary about apart from how owners "solve" their battery issues with the iStop-equipped model? Or is it even an issue at all?

I mean the other thing I'm looking at is actually a 2013-2014 Forester but it seems Subaru is having a bunch of quality issues lately (to their credit though, they seem to be honest about everything)

Disable iStop & grab a CTek CT5 Start/Stop trickle charger to extend that EFB or AGM batt life.....
Besides, now there are options....Delkor, Panasonic, Yuasa GS got em EFBs stocked at better prices.
