    Hello Guys.

Just an update from my side.

Again, nagkasira si Spin ko. ACU had a pipe broken.

Dinala ko sa casa a few days ago. Sabi nila pipe replacement ng aircon line.

They could not commit to a specific date sa pyesa. Knowing Chevy's spare parts availability, I was not expecting much.

My previous issues with spares had varying supply times from a week to four weeks so I was basing expectations from the past.

Sinabi ko din sa kanila na they need to improve spare parts availabilty as it is holding back a lot of potential customers.

To my surprise, they called up the following day and told me that the spare is available and ready.

Sent them my Spin who is now approaching 4 years old. They repaired the damage and I asked how much was the cost of the spares, freon, and labor. Since my unit is casa maintained for the past 3 and a half years, they told me that the bill is ZERO. All I had to do is sign the repair report.
And they reminded me that as long as the unit is maintained sa casa until its 5th year, all costs of repairs, spares, and labor on unexpected breakdowns are covered by their 5 year warranty bumper to bumper.

This experience shows that Chevy Ph is starting to listen to customers and is willing to exert the effort to meet customer requirements.

    chevy edsa?

thing is, they just need to order parts sa system. some SAs dont do this. hence long waiting times. meron at meron naman kasi deliveries from factories so its easy to get spareparts especially warranty stuff.

What part or where is the pipe positioned, near the compressor or heat exchangers? I guess ACU is generic as it is made by Sanden so ACU parts should be easy..

My ACU coldness is back to normal after replacement of failing radiator fan motor. Replaced under warranty but took them 1month for the motor to arrive from abroad.

Recently I am sourcing for replacement consumable parts as the end-of-warranty will be next year because I find casa parts sooo expensive, but to no avail-all parts outside casa are either OEM GM or ACDelco/ Delphi which are priced like casa.

Still the same impression, pricey parts & logistics problem, will not recommend Chevy or GM brand.

Can somebody confirm what specific replacement Bendix part number will fit the rotors. OE# ACDelco 19346786

    Bendix DB2262
    Bendix DB1748

Crossref shows they are both for Spin,Aveo,Sonic but no year model.

Stores are unsure also, will be needing the actual sample.
