October 31st, 2017 09:14 AM #2162I'm considering in buying a Mazda CX5. Out of curiosity, I called Motolite and asked if there's a special battery for CX5. But they told me they only use 1-SM type worth around 6000+ pesos. Is this true? I'm expecting that it will cost around 10k+.

November 9th, 2017 06:09 PM #2166I just want to ask CX5 owners (and Mazda owners in general), are you happy with the yojin 3 feature of Mazda? The skeptic in me is saying that since pms is free (for 3 years), dealers might not be that motivated to provide optimum/quality service to your car. Unlike on a regular pms service from other brands, the owner has to pay something. An additional incentive on their part to make sure that preventive measures/maintenance were being done properly.

Let you in on how yojin3 works....MazdaPh covers the expenses on every Yojin visit. The dealership is compensated. To bill, they submit proof of service.
Quality? From past trauma, I DIY most of mine.... those nippon T, H badges. I thought Mazda was no different....Was gladly proven wrong. The techs at the dealership local to me have somehow restored my faith in casa service. I can only hope this is homogeneous nationwide....[emoji4]

November 24th, 2017 02:26 PM #2170Trying to decide between CX5 AWD Gas or Turbo Diesel. I test drove the 2.5L gas and liked it but I heard the diesel drives even better especially on highways, stronger more responsive engine. But I am worried of reports online that this turbo diesel is sensitive to the quality of diesel fuel. So I worry of long term maintenance issues given the inconsistent quality of diesel fuel among gas stations in M. Manila. To CX5 diesel owners I would appreciate if you can share your experience, is this an issue? Any regrets?
