Maybe it's because of the bad TV reception back then. It may be hard to believe. But, over the air TV broadcasts in the PH was of better quality than those in the US because of the shorter distances involved.

In the animated title sequence, the bida punches a girl in the face.

Western secret agent TV show with sci-fi elements. The contrabida in the episode "The Night of the Juggernaut" has a steam powered tank-like vehicle.

I haven't seen the WWW Will Smith movie.

The murder of Robert Kissel at Crime Investigation.

It just blows my mind why a successful good looking investment banker would forgive (and even run after) a cheating housewife. Apparently a friend already told him to leave his wife but he did not listen and wanted to fix the dysfunctional marriage. Robert Kissel ended up murdered tuloy Only 41 years old and at the peak of his career as an expat

Personally, if a wife cheats, that means she already lost respect for the husband and it will happen again (this according to an ex close friend who got an annulment because of a cheating wife).

i vaguely remember in them 60s american movies, that the TV antennas in their homes were "sky-high", to get a good signal from the far-away station.

our TV reception used to be good, until them ayala skyscrapers sprouted up.
after that, TV reception would always be bad, because the TV stations were on the north side of the ayala wall, and we lived on the south side of that wall.

the girl da bida punched on the face, had a dagger in her hand and was about to stab da bida in da back. the cartoon sequence even highlighted the blade via a stellar reflection.
