Honda Mobilio

Hi, has anyone had any problems starting their mobilio? We've had it for exactly a year now and this morning the car wouldn't start all of a sudden. Headlights and horn were strong and we've been following the scheduled checkups at the casa so it's very weird. My dad is going to try to jump start it later then take it to Honda to see what's up.

Probably the battery. The stock battery of the Mobilio seems to have a short shelf life -- some owners, as posted in the Mobilio Club Facebook group, have had to change their batteries even before the one year mark. My officemate had theirs replaced at one year 6 months -- even with a voltmeter installed to monitor the battery, but at their most recent PMS Honda advised him to buy a new one. They bought Amaron from this shop --https://www.facebook.com/kfpviray/ (owner of the shop drives a Mobilio too hehe)

If that is the case, I am guessing (here that) it is not the battery but the idle/sleep/standby current of the car (and its accessories).

Can someone get a multimeter and set it to DC Current?

Disconnect the car's battery cable from one terminal of the battery and connect it(cable) to one of the multimeter's probes,- and the terminal of the battery to the other multimeter's probe. Close the door, turn off the lights, radio etc and lock the car using your remote control,- then measure the current. It should be below 100mA. If not, what do you measure?

If for example you are measuring 250mA,- then you're draining 1A-Hr every 4 hours,- not healthy.

Batteries though are rated typically at 40 A-Hr (not sure about the Mobilio battery). But if you park it for 24 hours at that drain, then you lose 6 A-Hr already and the battery may become weak much earlier over time.

Mga boss..mgkano kaya ang maintenance cost ng mobilio at BRV..?im planning to buy top of the line mobilio RS NAVI..or BRV na hindi top of the line variant..alin kaya ang mas mganda..??pa help naman po mga boss..

It may help to list yung purpose bakit you want to own a car including the features you expect from it.

I suspect may budget constraint ka so weigh in mo talaga ung perks ni RS Navi Mobilio vs basics of BRV. Ang mabigat lang naman bitawan sa BRV is the ground clearance.

BRV says "thank you"

Indian buyers are waiting for the Indonesian Updated mobilio obviously.

I hope Filipinos do the same for the mobilio and other vehicles that are too stripped out.

Ford ecosport mas pogi mas matangkad. Mobilio pandak then kuno 7 seaters?! May tanong lng ako (be open minded huwag magpakabobo): seven na tao magbabakasyon ng mahaba sa probinsya na may kanya kanyang maletang malaki so saan mo isisiksik yong 7 maleta?? Kung sa ecosport ay limang tao lng so kasya ang limang maleta sa ecosport. Huwag mong sabihin na lima lng ikakarga mo sa mobilio?? Bat ka pa nag seven seater aber?? Icipicip

Wala naman atang 7 seater with all seats up na kaya magdala ng 7 maleta sa luggage compartment.

What most do is add luggage racks, either sa roof or hitch mounted.

Dati din iba tingin ko sa 7 seaters... Di naman kasi kasya bag + 7 passengers...

Pero during my overseas trips, napansin ko na malaking bagay yung 3rd row...

In countries na bawal buhatin yung baby in car, kung 4 adults + kids... Sakto third row for 2 kids na naka car seat.

Guys im not from ford ganun lng talaga ako magcomments parang may halong galit. Di ko naisip pwede rin pala lagyan ng skibox ( ako tuloy mukhang bobo dito nakakahiya)... anyway marami na ko natutunan sa tsikot. Nagagalit kc ako sa kuya ko na bumili ng innova at ni minsan di sya nagkarga ng pitong tao kaya kumukuha ako ng mga reasons nya kung bakit mobilio ang choices nyo. Thanks sa mga good reasons pala.
