Buy a Mobilio since you already have an adventure.
Hard to compare gas and diesel in terms of maintenance in the long run. It will really depend how you will use your ride. City driving suggest Mobilio. Driving to and from province. I will suggest Adventure.
I happened to own both Mobilio and Adventure Super Sports.
Good Luck in your choice!

140 kph lang top speed ng Mobilio sabi sa manual ng unit due to Safety reason and this being positioned as a family ride.
Don't know about the actual top speed since ang daming speed limit sa expressway at mahal ang penalty. I only did 120 kph when overtaking then back to 100 kph once naka pass na ako.

I have a few thoughts, all positive for now, on having a Mobilio V:
1. It drives like a sedan but has the practicality of an MPV.
2. The CVT is smooth, definitely no shift shock.
3. I average 10-12 km/liter for city driving and 15-17 for mix highway/city driving (subic via NLEX/SCTEX) on 95 octane gas.
4. It's not tiring to drive in traffic and along the highways.
5. It's easy to drive in and out of city traffic and easy to park. The wife loves it.
6. I sold my Altis and Avanza, both automatics, to buy the mobilio and I have no regrets..for now.
My unit was purchased last week of September and has only 2,600+ km on the odometer so I dont know how much I will spend for the first 5,000 km PMS. Fortunately I was able to buy before the price increase and towards the end of the month and the third quarter so the salesman was running after his quota. It meant getting full cash discounts and free items, and a very good price for the trade in of one of my cars.
For those looking at the BRV, why not? However it's basically a Mobilio...same engine and transmission, basic features, and dimensions. But its almost PHP200K more expensive and delivery starts in March.
