Tanong lang mga sirs, me nakapagtry na ba sa inyo na maglagay ng lifter sa mobilio para tumaas kahit papano yung ground clearance?
Me effect ba sa riding performance?
    TIA.

I'm also planning to get MOBILIO vs ADVENTURE GLS SUPERSPORT. I know they are not of same type but I considered MOBILIO because it can accommodate up to 7 persons and the availability of the parts of Honda. Mobilio has AIRBAGS too in terms of security. What I like about the Adventure is its fuel type which is DIESEL. I'm also satisfied in using a Mitsubishi since I am already using ADVENTURE GLS SPORT (take note the one I am comparing now is GLS SUPER SPORT) in our province.

Which do you think is better based on the considerations I have mentioned? Let's forget first items 3,4,and 8.. :-D

    1. Be able to ride 5 or 6 persons (including the driver) - is Sedan possible?
    2. I will primarily use it as my ride from home to office (metro manila) - not yet married - but will also be used sometimes for out of town
    3. Less than P900k
    4. Prefer diesel (but you may also suggest cars using gasoline and please tell me why you prefer gas compared to diesel, if ever)
    5. Fuel consumption
    6. Also prefer MT but I don't know if the traffic in Metro Manila (did not experience yet to drive in Metro Manila, I usually drive in our province Bicol) will let me regret for choosing it instead of AT.. :-D
    7. Parts should be available in the market (not only on CASA)
    8. Freebies or discount? :-D

How about the PMS of the two (2)? Where can I save in the long run considering that MOBILIO is GASOLINE while ADVENTURE is DIESEL? No plan of selling it let's say for 10 years. Is the PMS of DIESEL much more expensive than the gasoline?

    Thank you so much.
Buy a Mobilio since you already have an adventure.

Hard to compare gas and diesel in terms of maintenance in the long run. It will really depend how you will use your ride. City driving suggest Mobilio. Driving to and from province. I will suggest Adventure.

I happened to own both Mobilio and Adventure Super Sports.

    Good Luck in your choice!

If this S is the same as the S of the city E CVT, napaabot ko na sya ng 160km/h for a few seconds. I think slower upshift lang sya pero kaya nya umabot ng top speed.

140 kph lang top speed ng Mobilio sabi sa manual ng unit due to Safety reason and this being positioned as a family ride.

Don't know about the actual top speed since ang daming speed limit sa expressway at mahal ang penalty. I only did 120 kph when overtaking then back to 100 kph once naka pass na ako.

As for the nil illumination for the letters on the shifter, hopefully other owners would verify if they have the same

Wala talagang illumination sa Shifter sa CVT. Sa dashboard mo lang makikita kung nasaang position iyong shifter mo.

Kaya naman basta naka S ka sa gearshift. Tried that in Crosswinds Tagaytay with 5 adults + 2 kids.

I have a few thoughts, all positive for now, on having a Mobilio V:
    1. It drives like a sedan but has the practicality of an MPV.
    2. The CVT is smooth, definitely no shift shock.
    3. I average 10-12 km/liter for city driving and 15-17 for mix highway/city driving (subic via NLEX/SCTEX) on 95 octane gas.
    4. It's not tiring to drive in traffic and along the highways.
    5. It's easy to drive in and out of city traffic and easy to park. The wife loves it.
    6. I sold my Altis and Avanza, both automatics, to buy the mobilio and I have no regrets..for now.

My unit was purchased last week of September and has only 2,600+ km on the odometer so I dont know how much I will spend for the first 5,000 km PMS. Fortunately I was able to buy before the price increase and towards the end of the month and the third quarter so the salesman was running after his quota. It meant getting full cash discounts and free items, and a very good price for the trade in of one of my cars.

For those looking at the BRV, why not? However it's basically a Mobilio...same engine and transmission, basic features, and dimensions. But its almost PHP200K more expensive and delivery starts in March.
