Kung everyday car, would'nt advise the Xtrail as I'm spending 8.5k-9k petot worth of gasoline every month to feed it. (50km per day on weekdays two way and occasional trip to provinces every weekend.) Ok lang, pogi naman ako.

sir I had the same dilemna a few years ago. I ended with an X-Trail and never regretted it up till today. the X-Trail has been with me for such a time now. and whenever I peep into my garage, I feel happy with my choice kasi I really liked how the X-Trail looked like eversince it came out. I know I wouldn't feel the same way as I do now whenever I peep into my garage if I had chosen an Innova just because of fuel consumption. I hope this helps

my X-Trail also does 7-8 km/L on city driving and daily driver din sya. iba pa din comfort and power ng X-Trail. If I will be given a chance to do the same choice again (Innova vs X-Trail) same choice pa din ako. X-Trail pa din

Hi mga sir I need your help. Car is 2006 xtrail 200x. I heard sakit ng xtrail yung pulley sa alternator. Maingay na siya, hindi na tumitigil ikot kahit engin off na. According to the mechanic, ok par raw alternator. Yung pulley lang talaga. I tried the ff but no luck: 1, replacement/ reconditioned alternator 7500, it didn't match the old pulley(iba). 2, circuit pulley bearing 1800, same iba yung pulley walang spacer sasayad sa body ng alternator. My question is may iba pa bang ways maliban sa bibili ng bnew alternator? Thanks in advance.

Hmm.. I replaced my own (2008, T30 Tokyo) with a Narida alternator, ok naman chief. If you'd gone for an entire alternator assembly, it should have come with its own pulley..

Hello fellow tsikot, May naka-experiene na ba sa inyo about x-trail. Ayaw tumuloy sa pag-start.. May kuryente at nagka-crank naman.. May gasolina at bago rin ang battery.. 2007 2.0 tokyo edition model.. Salamat sa makakatulong!

Had this experience before with a 2002 Exalta. Immobilizer was found to be the problem.

I'm gonna bump this thread because I still have the old Xtrail and am experiencing the same issue as mentioned by kng200. i know it's been more than a year since he made his pulley issue but maybe some of the owners still have theirs and are able to fix it in a better way than I have. This year 3rd time na ako nagpalit ng pulley. Supposedly ok yung quality na nabibili ko from my electrician but twice na siya pumalya. Forgot the brand but it's Korean made. Took a pic of the orig vs the replacement. Meron bang nagpalit ng pulley lang sa inyo tapos tumagal siya? What brand did you get? Meron bang nabibili na original pulley? I'm assuming sa casa pero kung meron sana sa labas much better. Here's the pic of the orig and the replacement I have. Left ang orig.
