Hi sir, on my way to office napansin ko kanina yung fort ko may ganitong tunog din, although hindi naman sa lahat ng lubak. Parang pag under acceleration lang tapos nadaan sa lubak or road zipper. Sa may bandang likod/gitna nanggagaling yung tunog. Pinaghihinalaan ko is baka yung spare tire hindi masyado nakasagad pataas kaya kumakalog. Paguwi ko pa sya machecheck later.

another possibility, would be the air cleaner. i had a similar strange sound years ago, when my innova was still younger.. it turned out, whoever tinkered with the air cleaner (kami yata yon.. heh heh), did not tighten enough the nuts.. kumakalog yung housing..

Good day po! Just want to ask if need pa magpa rust proof? Nabasa ko po kasi dito na no need na since pag labas sa casa is naka rust proof na. Nagpa quote kasi ako sa Toyota Dagupan tapos nakita ko may rust proof na kasama worth 10k. Sabi ko di ba naka rust proof na yan kasi nabasa ko sa forum meron na. Ang sagot sa akin is under coating lang daw. Ayun, na confuse na ako. Ano po ba ang totoo? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply. Just to be clear po, when you say factory rustproofing is that the same as undercoat or is that the same as rustproofing na additional expense pag ilalabas mo na yung unit sa showroom?

Magkaiba ang undercoating and rustproofing. Rustproofing is done during manufacturing process. Yung undercoat after na. Para sa mga iba na gusto mas protected yung underside ng cars nila, they do undercoat using rubber material. Yung mga iba naman, nadudumihan sa rubber undercoating so they dont do it.

Yup, tama kayo. Pero kasi wala naman kabig ang steering. I'll do it anyway para may peace of mind. Parang galing sa gitna ang tunog eh. I'll also take out the jack and tools baka umuuntog
sa kaha eh.

Went to Servitek, ang kalampag nanggaling sa hood. Adjustment lang pala ng 2 rubber footings infront.

I have ItalianSpeed tuning chip installed in my 3.0 Fortuner. I have a friend who ordered one for his 2008 2.5 unit. Last I checked very satisfied siya.
