a.) Is there a product? meron naman pero obviously props lang para mag mukhang legit na business
b.) Are commissions paid based on product sales or and not from the entry fees paid upon registration of new recruits? registration fee na may kapalit na produkto. ang halaga daw ng produkto katumbas ng ibinayad. pero sa totoo wala pa sa kalahati ang tunay na halaga ng mga produkto
c.) Is the company selling a product and not a position? parang selling products pero mas focused sa recruitment. kung product-focused ang company baket puro upline downline ang naririnig mo? minsan di mo nga alam ano mga produkto ng company pero alam mo MLM sila haha
d.) Is there no direct correlation between the number of recruits and compensation? there is
e.) If recruitment is to stop today, will the participants still make money? kung magbenta sila ng produkto
f.) Is there a reasonable product return policy? ever tried returning an MLM product? haha
g.) Do products have fair market value? no. sobra mahal
h.) Is there a compelling reason to buy? kung hindi dahil sa "promise" or potential ng malaking kita magbabayad ka ba ng P10,000 para sumali? hindi ka naman sumali dahil sa produkto diba? sumali ka dahil gusto mo din magkaroon ng Camaro o Hummer heheLast edited by uls; August 11th, 2014 at 07:16 PM.

MLM ba Usana? A lot of my colleagues are buying their supplements which I find too expensive! There are good brand name supplements in the US that are sold at a much cheaper price.
FERN-C lang talaga MLM supplement that I buy. I can't find any sodium ascorbate in the US kasi.

[Medyo OT]
guys, how about IMG Wealth Academy & Truly Rich Club? (pasubali lang kung may member)
I find them MLM-leaning in terms of "recruitment." a lot of my acquiantances have been "preaching" (pun intended) about financial literacy and investments lately and I find it annoying that they suddenly became financial gurus.
yours cordially,
financially illiterate man

TRC isn't an MLM. It doesn't exist on the basis of earning commissions from new recruits. Wala pa atang 300 pesos ang commission mo if you get a friend to register through your online link. Wala ring downline/upline.
Also, people join for the service (StocksUpdate, spiritual guidance, invitations to different talks) and not to get rich. In fact, if you read Bo Sanchez's works, he's very much against quick-rich schemes, though he admits to having joined networking before and says he got nothing out of it.
I also think that your friends who want to spread financial literacy are doing a service to the community. Ang dami daming pilipinong walang alam sa pera. They think time deposits are the best financial instruments in the world. They know nothing about inflation.
If you're so financially literate, then don't spoil their service to others. If you're financially illiterate and still choosing to shun them, then that's your loss. As long as your friends aren't extorting exorbitant amounts of money in exchange for financial advice, and as long as their advice is grounded on solid financial principles, then I don't see what's so wrong with it.

Some are not members, they just use the products. I've been telling them it's overpriced, I don't know why they stick with that brand.
