FOLLOW UP QUESTION : I'm sure may nakapagtry na magpalagay ng car alarm sa CX-5 nila. Just wanted to know if what brand will you recommend? I went to a certain shop before para magpalagay ng car alarm but the owner declined. Masyado daw maganda yung car ko para daw sa alarm nila. Yung alarm kasi nila is made in China worth around 2.5k. So I went to a different shop and they showed me two brands: Code Alarm and Cobra. Any reviews about these brands? Or should I look for a different brand? Thanks!
You can have a car alarm installed at Roadstar, BGC. The brand is Autopage and it utilizes your own fob key. Had mine (sold my CX5 already) installed there and it's a very good quality car alarm. You can also have the shock alarm and the auto lock features installed. cost me almost 5k yata.

Cool! 5k is not bad. Pasok pa sa budget ko . I will try to find it here in my area(I'm actually in Davao). Hopefully I do find one. I'm having a difficulty looking for some accessories for my CX-5 here. I already went to a number of car shops here in Davao but most of them say "Bago pa kasi yang sasakyan mo sir" or "Hindi kami nagkakabit nyan sir. Walang may alam. Try nyo sa casa sir".

Anyway, I searched for Autopage and found out two products. RF-225a and RF-350. Saan jan sa dalawa yung gamit mo sir?

    Thanks ulit!

I already forgot the model number but it's not one of the two you have mentioned. As I have said, it utilizes your own fob key and doesn't have a separate remote key. I suggest you inquire with Roadstar Fort and just ask them that you want an Autopage car alarm which utilizes your own fob key. Maybe they can ship the item to you in case they have it in stock. I remember asking larry0609 about it before, the alarm would be Code Alarm model CA3051. The odd thing is when i called them a few months ago, they said that they havent installed any alarm on the CX5 yet and didnt want to take the risk. Do you still remember the name of the installer who did your CX5 larry?

Sorry for the confusion, It might have been the Code Alarm. The installer used to be based at Roadstar Makati but have moved to Roadstar Fort. I was there last Wednesday and he told me that he is now based permanently at Fort. Sorry, I didn't asked for his name but he is the one and only reliable installer there. He still remember me and my car as I gave him a very nice tip when he installed that alarm to my car. I suggest that you visit their shop and look for this guy.

Indeed it was Code Alarm CA3051. I did some backread and I found it in this thread. The problem now is even if I purchase the alarm at Roadstar and have them ship it here in Davao, I'm not sure if someone would dare to install the product to my CX-5. Wala pa yatang may alam. I can't even find a single shop selling accessories for the CX-5 here. That's how difficult it is.

Which leads me to my next question. I asked my SA if they(casa) can install the alarm. He told me that he'll have to ask the branch manager first because it might void my warranty. Do you guys have an idea which part of the warranty gets void in case I install an alarm?

I'm in the market for an SUV/CUV. At first wala talaga CX 5 Pro sa choices ko. But I got to test drive this last Sunday sa subd. Super nice! Naging top of the list ko agad sya. 0% interest na, yojin 3 pa. Kaso nag aalangan lang ako sa price. For the same price makukuha ko na rin Fortuner AT Diesel with 15.7% effective interest. Bale 50% down and 3 years to pay.
