Meanwhile, a high-ranking personality in the league yesterday told the Inquirer that should the Air21 sale to NLEX push through, it is most likely that the Express may never be readmitted to the league again.

NLEX is reportedly buying the Air21 franchise for a sum that is a lot bigger than the P100 million expansion fee, and an Air21 official had said that selling to NLEX is an option as they will just re-apply for a new franchise the following season.
“That will not happen in all likelihood,” said the source, who said that he had talked to several Air21 officials about this scenario. “Should they sell and then re-apply, it will only mean that they made money out of their franchise, and the board doesn’t like that.”

it's more expensive to re apply as expansion team... 100M ni re require nang PBA then 100M deposit.. so 200M para mag apply.. kaya nga nagbago nang route ang NLEX kasi mas mura na babayaran nila.. makakakuha pa sila nang competitive team.. kesa kung via expansion route.. aasa ka lang sa mga free agents and sa draft.. wala ka makukuhang star player....

^ dapat lang. matagal na sila dyan sa pba para kumita sa iba't-ibang trade + cash kaya naging katatawanan ang pba. to a degree i really think lina wasn't the sole puppetmaker of this team

nakakapanghinayang din kasi technically 3 ang teams sa supposed expansion na 'to pero lumalabas na 2 lang ang nadagdag. eh minsan lang nasa mood tumanggap ng new teams ang board of governors eh kasi old boys club din ang pba

sana napanood ni la tenorio. caguioa, jayjay, cabagnot yung interview ni shaq kay parker. instruction daw ni pops on their offense set-up/ball movement.....two dribbles, then pass. two dribbles then pass.

eh yang 4 na mokong na ayan, sagana sa dribble. kala mo naman may puntos yung kadi-dribble nila.......

Kahit lagi talo gin kings daming solid fans! Hahaha. Ok lang yan. Ganyan talaga tayong pilipino kahit naloloko na support pa din natin. Haha im not a fan btw. Lol
