the only way to save on electricity cost is to invest in solar and wind turbine system. this will be a long term investment. ROI is 10-20 years yata? but with never ending increase in electricity cost, mukhang magshorten yung ROI.

Going solar and wind will not make electricity cheaper. It will actually make it more expensive because current technology for solar and wind are still very expensive and the ROI for the install costs takes at least a decade and that does not include the expensive maintenance costs required for such massive installations.

Simply because the power source is free does not mean the resulting electric costs will be cheaper than coal or oil. The reason why coal and oil is cheaper is because coal and oil is a relatively concentrated source of power. For the same reason, electricity from nuclear power is cheaper than solar and wind power.

Note: I am talking about installations big enough to power a few towns, not just a single TV and a couple of LED lights.

Just to add up to the equation both solar and wind requires a huge/massive amount of land to power up a small town/baranggay what more for a whole municipality.

Both systems affects other infrastructure as well, example is for wind - cellular signal and others. Solar, it can increase the whole temperature of the whole town.

Imho, the best system of power plant in the phill is through nat.gas.

maliit ata ang hp kaya halos buong gabi naka on ang ACU, baka time na to upgrade to higher capacity, in my case I only need 1hp max kung gagamitan ng formula, pero ang binili ko 2hp, since 2006 laging 2hrs lang on ang ACU sa gabi.

Bought my first no-name LED bulb from Ace yesterday for around 160 petot. 4W lang daw pero ang output nya was similar to the 8W CFL it replaced. After hours of use there is no noticeable heat coming from the bulb or the heatsink. Kung ok 'to I'll be using this brand to replace the CFLs.

Also bought a water cooler to minimize the opening of the refrigerator door to get cold water. Let's see kung may effect.
