That's just the maximum wattage if you set it on high. That's enough to skin you alive unless you live in the highlands. Typically, low or medium lang (for mechanical units) and about 30% (for electronic models) ang settings. That'll consume around 1000-1500 watts lang, not 3500w.

Sir, what kind of timer do you put on your ref? maybe i should get one na din. naka on kasi 24hrs ang ref namin.

The electronic timer from CDR-KING works well enough. Just set it when you want it off and on.

So far with CRKING timers, my only issue is the clock runs slightly fast so I need to reset the clock every 3 to 4 weeks.

Cdrking na timer din yung gamit ko. Effective nga sya during coolest time of the day, late evening off and early morning on sya. Pero during summer 24hrs duty yung ref, kasi kahit 12midnight na eh nasa 30degC pa rin yung ambient inside the house.

sir gh, safe ba yan and pang ref talaga? kasi mataas ung wattage ng ref baka hindi kayanin o masunog ung timer.

They are rated to handle 800 to 1000watts.

Check the rating of the particular timer you want to use.
