Ganda nga ng price. Mas mura pa sa mazda 6. And sulit sa features compared sa competetion, libre PMS and tipid pa sa gas. Kung may 1.7M lang ako ito na bibilhin ko.

Looks promising, daming added features and of course more spunk under the hood. Maganda mga reviews nito sa net. Kung bibigyan ako ni MGH ng discount kasi if I buy from them 2nd car na to galing sa kanila, pwede he he he.

    SRP is 1.685M.

Differences from the other CX5 variants are:
    2.5L 4x4 skyactive engine
    19" wheels
    Leather seats
    Sunroof
    9 bose speakers
    I-Stop
    Bi-xenon headlights
    Adaptive Front-lighting (AFL)
    Reverse Camera
    Rear View Monitoring for blindspots
Power drivers seats with power adjustable lumbar support
    Moonroof
    Auto-dimming rearview mirror
    Tilting and Telescopic steering wheel
    Start/Stop Button
Tire Pressure Monitoring (available on all variants)

Standard Freebies include: Tint, Matting, Yojin3, 3 years LTO Registration.

Colors: Black, White, Aluminum Metallic, Sky Blue, and Soul Red (with 16,800 Premium)

With these features, it's almost like buying a Volvo XC60 at half the price. I think the CX5 AWD SPORT is worth buying. IMO, it has better features than the CRV, RAV4 and even the Forester.

According to my SA the new 2.5L engine is the same as the one used by the new Mazda6 and is rated at 190hp and 250Nm.
AFAIK may lane departure warning system din.

Yes Sir Germs. it also has Lane Departure warning. This feature is not included in the list that the SA gave me but I remember seeing this button on the dashboard.

How did you find the CX-5's air conditioner this summer? Was it sufficient to cool the cabin up to the 2nd row?

I am planning to buy one but my experience with my current X-trail tells me that on a hot summer day, the 2nd row area tends to get too warm for comfort (with 2nd row passenger complaining) even though the front area is sufficiently cooled. This is the case unless you have both the thermostat at the coolest setting and the blower at maximum. No problems whatsoever on the X-trail's air-conditioning system.

Thanks in advance for the inputs.

When we got the unit we were on the road from 7AM to 3PM straight. Driver's aircon was set to 23, passenger's to 19, outside temp 35. No complaints whatsoever from the back seat where my notoriously temperature-sensitive mom was sound asleep. Factory tint on the back windows, VKOOL OEM front windows and windshield visor.
