Hi, its my first time inside the Fortuner thread. Can any of you Fortuner owners confirm if one can "successfully" remove the mud guards and stepboards of the present model Fortuner and not leave any gaping holes? I personally have yet to see a Fortuner sans mudguards and stepboards, hence my question.
Pictures if any of you have, would be very much appreciated. I see myself getting a Fortuner in the near future (God willing).
Thanks

Yep, quite a bit of weekend off roading may be in order. Re: Hole ... as of late I have noticed that almost all SUV's (except for the Fortuner) have mudguards that are "moulded" as one with the door or fender mouldings/over-riders. Hence when one takes the mudguards off, mounting holes are left behind. I am not a fan of mudguards ..
Thanks
