Yep sa US forum. Concerned lang ako kasi my dad is planning to get one next year. Wala naman ako naririnig from local users pero since same factory galing lahat most likely we have the same issues. Mas mabigat lang siguro mga kano
Oh well sana version 1 problems lang maaayos na nila ang subsequent batches

Americans. They can break anything.
If it's just a few owners, no problem. Besides, seat popping is covered under warranty.
From my time with the CX5, quality did not feel any worse than other Mazda units.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

September 24th, 2012 12:30 PM #413hi, this one's for people in doubt whether to get the CX-5 or the more traditionally favored brands... its a comparo done by CardandDriver. since USDM version is Made in Japan same as what we're getting.... this should be a pretty convincing argument that if u like the CX-5 you should go for it...

Thanks for the vote of confidence Niky!
He's actually choosing between the XV and the CX5. The Mazda is the lead contender because of the MT. Old as they are my mom and dad still like rowing their own gears especially on the provincial highways they frequent. They just need the extra height of a car-based SUV because it's easier on creaky knees.

unbelievable! mazda has done it again now in compact SUV category. The same skyactive powered Mazda 3 bested also 2012 models civic, elantra, focus, altis, lancer in an american car magazine compact sedan review months ago this year. Now Im already a believer that new generation Mazda vehicles are no longer gas guzzlers

Match it with virtually per year PMS sked ng new gasoline engines and less wear and tear, i think it's time to get rid of that concept that CRdi has the advantage, may MT kaya eto cx5 na skyactiv. Worth looking at eto ah

September 29th, 2012 03:47 PM #419I have the crdi sta fe. These Tucson crdis na relatively new sa market will suffer in FC and performance as it ages. Kinekekangan lagi ng Italian tune up to remove maybe those dirty sludge as the crdi ages. my SF started 11km/liter 2006 then 10 then 9 then now nag 7km liter, it Casa maintained and low mileage.
Bad trip ang diesel dito sa Pilipinas probably bec the local refiners target market are the PUV diesels. I still have the old L300FB and still consistent in diesel FC, maybe bec it can handle dirty diesel.
gasoline SUVs are proven na consistent naman as it ages Maliban na LANg sa bumper traffic. My 99 CRV still averages 8km/liter with Petron XCS, not bad for a 13 yr old engine.
Kaya welcoming move eto skyactiv

Finally got my plates! 5 months wait!
I love my CX-5! I love the sports car sound when I sometimes rev up on Edsa.
