Pwede nyo po ba akong matulungan about sa kung anong oil ang gagamitin ko sa pagchangoil? kasi lampas six months napo kasi since last akong nakapachange oil and
it was in the casa and i dont know what oil they are using. And after reading some post here that you must change the oil every atleast 3months, eh balak ko po na sa labas na ako mgpapachange oil,gusto ko po sanang ako lang bibili ng oil kaso wla akong alam kung anong oil ang bibilhin ko. By the way my car is a Nissan Sentra 1.3 GX 2009 manual.It will turn 4 years old this coming december but the mileage is still 16386 kilometers. Hindi po kasi everyday ginagamit. Salamat po sa inyong tulong.

Since you seldom use your sentra perhaps you can opt to get a syn oil instead, atleast with syn oil its safe to have your next schedule change oil 6 months after.

You can also check out your owners manual as to what rate of oil is recommended for your engine since im not that familiar yet with N16 sentras.

kahit anong brand pwede basta either 10w40 or 5w30.

normally sa casa, they use fully synth oil. check mo din to validate yung resibo mo from your last PM. pag lampas 2k yung oil, they've used a fully synth variant. if this is the case, hindi mo pa kailangan magpa change oil. they usually last for a year.

if they've used mineral, kailangan mo na mag pa change oil....

and change oil intervals vary:

for minerals = around 7.5k kms, or 4 months
for semi-synth = around 9k kms, or roughly around 6 months
for fully synth = around 10-12k kms, or roughly around a year.

this is considering your driving routes and driving style.

ang lapot naman nyan. hehe. bka semi or synthetic yan sir, medyo may kamahalan kasi. pag mineral oil, around P600php lang. thats 200php each

may kamahalan nga po. sa casa po kasi ang oil na ginamit. ano po kayang ibang brand ng oil na maganda gamitin para sa N16 Gx manual? tnx
