Nissan Xtrail Owners: Questions and stuff

Tnx for the advise. Is it also possible that the thud sound is cause by a defective steering column?

^Highly unlikely. Steering columns don't wear easily unless the car is really old.

my 04 xtrail got a weird aircon. if mabagal takbo humihina ang aircon. but if il maintain speed 60kph and up and 2loy 2loy naman malamalamig. y is it so?

anyway i still love my xtrail. so far wala pa problem except for the aircon

Its a sign that your aircon is due for cleaning. There is also a cabin filter, try checking your manual to check its location, baka due for replacement na rin yun

most likely you aux fan is deffective na.

Yup, it's probably the aux fan. I had mine fixed and the aircon is cool as ice again. You can also close the fan inside the softdrinks cooler.

Any CVT Xtrail users here? Would really like to know any feedback regarding performance, ride, and FC. I'm slowly seeing Xtrail CVT 4x4 on the streets. It seems the 4x4 is selling better than the 4x2 even if it's P1.5M.

i have a 03 4x4 xtrail 250x .

is it normal for the hood to shake a bit while driving through our badly paved roads?

also does the temp gauge move a wee bit up from the normal position and would drop back down?

Haven't encountered both of these issues in our 2004 Xtrail. I think you need to diagnose it.

Check the rubber stopper on your hood, it may need adjustment or is flattened.

Other than the CASA, where is (1) an excellent auto repair shop and (2) a nissan OEM parts shop for xtrails in the Paranaque, Muntinlupa area? Just got a used 250x at 81k kms. I think I would need to replace some parts and have a full diagnostic test.
