Here's what I did with mine. 265/70/16. Rims are 10 inchers (I think) sorry, I also forgot the off-set:
wide huh?
how it props up the truck.
clear comparison between them and the stock rims. Big sucker ey?
Now with the same tires on stock rims:
-----------
Nope, no lifting kit here. I simply turned-up the front torsions then replaced the rear shackles with longer ones. I think it gave it at least a 1 1/2 inch lift. Remember this ARB? Hehehe.
HTH.

nice rig sir MR!
just one question lang po.....can you clarify the size of the mags? if it has a 9 or 10 inch width? because AFAIK the limit of 265's or 32" tires is only 9 inch width base from the wheel catalogue that I saw.....however if its a 10 incher, I believe it has some safety issues to compel with...

3 nalang.
beilstein shocks ang sabi sakin.
please advice

Yeah I was thinking of the same thing too
I sold the set already last year so my poor memory is the only reference.
You're right sir, I think this was a 9" width. My basis for describing it as a 10 is because I remember that the tire shop had a very hard time mounting the tires since there was such a large gap brought about by the wide rims.
Yes, if this were a 10 it would have been catastrophic over large bumps hehe.

so that clears it....
kasi sir if you were able to install 10" width with a 265 without any compromise magsisisi ako why I chose a 9" hehe....
BTW sir MR and other Dmax bros....
have you heard about the alcohol injection on your rig?
because I've read somewhere here in the forums that when you install it on a dmax.....it will turn into something REALLY amazing & I mean amazingwith regards to performance...
and IMO when I've read this certain post it seems like that the engine at its current stock state, it is being suppressed...

naka 265/70r16 ang rims dmax ko ngayon dahil sa election.. kawawa kc 18s gamitin tapos gagamtin off road.. hehehe... when nilagay ko yun 265/70 with a 16x9 rims.. ok naman ah... the offset was i think was a 1 also... but nice thing about choosing rims is like a lady choosing a dress, u dont know what to pick and having fun...hahahaha...
... fitting this rim to that & this tire or vice versa...
yup lalabs ng ng ganyan like memphis and tamd ang boy nya maglinis.. talagang halata ang putik.. hahahaha..
memphis... mukhang meron ka rin kinuha sa fender flare mo ah.. hehehe... notice ko agad kc ganun din ginawa ko when i put the 18s on with a 275/60... hehehehe...
kelan ba tayo mag EB dito sa bohol??? hehehe... mag chocolate hills tour tayo para maganda tingnan naka convoy mga dmax.... then a pic dito sa shop.... and sympre ang istandby with kape and inoman and talk about dmax all night long.. hahahaha...

Sir you might wanna try to check your engine oil since the engine is the one giving you a signal, then try checking the rest of the fluids that you can check. like Radiator and all that.
I had a friend that once owned an black XUV, the check engine litted while we were on SLEX for some stupid reason it was filled up with Unleaded Gas on Shell Magallanes, but we noticed it immediately on the bill so we had them drain the fuel tank. then refilled it with diesel again. the thing is there is already a sticker Diesel Fuel only. but the gasoline boy ignored it. anyhow while on the way to alabang the check engine led lit up. pero ok naman ung nangyari naka punta pa kme filinvest and nakauwi pabalik manila. then i learned binenta na nila ung Xwind nila. i dont know the exact reason though.

Yeah Roco, we have been 'educated' on the use of Devil's Own Alcohol Injection hehe. SRBogoy had one installed in his unit. Lakas daw talaga and cleaner burning.
The most engine mod I did was a cone type K&N which really improved the acceleration. Switched back to stock box since my route evolved into daily drives along very dusty roads.
Jarhead - honga eh, ilang taon na tayo postpone ng postpone sa Bohol EB even though I'm just about two hours away from you hehe. Maybe sa May 1 (fiesta) dyan di ba?
Yes, I had to remove the mudguards kasi the large tread blocks rubs against them. I even had to shave a few plastic parts there too which was a bad idea :hysterical:
Dang I love this truck. Except for the clutch release bearing I replaced last year, the engine is practically bullet-proof.
Cheers guys!
No, but it was what sounded closest to Bill, bill. Ha ha ha!
