if you plan to publish it in youtube, any slideshow maker will do. ProShow Producer, iPod Photo Slideshow, etc. basta may avi, mpg export format.

It's still best to use a video-editing app. Windows MovieMaker should be sufficient. Just drop the images into the timeline, drop the audio file to the timeline. Adjust each image duration so together they match the length of the song. Burn to a file.

Sample of one I made a while back. It took a very short time to make. I used Ulead Video Studio 10 Plus. But, any video editor will do......

I showed my 11-yr old daughter how to install DVDVideoSoft's Free YouTube To iPod Converter.

I also showed her how to paste in the url and set the save folder to her videos folder.

I then showed her how to load her media files to her iPod Nano (8gb video-capable) via iTunes.

Finally, I told her, "Here, go nuts" and she has. All the stuff in her Nano are from YouTube. She hasn't even used her $15 iTunes store giftcard.

YouTube's also quite a good source of videos for my PSP.

I know that this is an old thread, but I need your help here as I am tasked with providing music videos of various songs/artists for a multi-gang reunion tomorrow night....Youtube will definitely serve this purpose, but I am encountering trouble downloading files. Some do not have audio; others were clipped; still others fail to download.

Any free online downloader of youtube (flv) videos you've tried lately that works? Also, preferably, those that convert the file to avi, please?

    TIA.

Try vixy.net. That's what I use. A nice thing about this site is that also converts the youtube video to AVI, 3GP, and MP4.

Thanks bro. Have actually tried this twice yesterday and today, and strangely, the downloaded video file does not have audio...... It's quite logical to me, since its(downloaded video) file size is just a little bit larger than the file when I did an MP3 conversion of the original youtube video....

Sorry to hear that. I admit medyo sumablay na din sa akin ang vixy. I've downloaded some vids din using Vixy that ended up no having audio. This happens mostly with the newer vids in Youtube.

are you using background music or natural sound? you tube sometimes blocks audio using copyrighted music.
