i just switched to fiber...my telco's cable broadband svcwill be phased out next year.
and i gota good deal swtiching early - 10SGD lang per mo for 1Gbps(advertised) link.

Ako kaka pipirma lang din sa pag switch to pldt's fiber option last wed. Naglatag na ng wiring kahapon kaso naubusan daw ng modem. so next week na ang completion ng installation. Bwisit hehe

Looking at PLDT vs Converge, it seems that PLDT has a better deal.
PLDT Fibr's Plan 1899 offers 50 mbps with a 300 GB cap. I only use around 30 GB a month so I don't think I'll exceed the cap, and I have mobile data anyway in case I do.
Converge's Plan 1500 has no cap but only comes with 25 mbps.
Leaning towards PLDT for now.
