Thinking of switching to Globe's fiber plan already. Just have to pay Skycable's termination fee I guess.

likely na pldt din ang backbone. However, baka mas effective ang routing nila. sariling fiber, may nodes sa HK and US. maganda ung feedback ng gamers sa yugatech e. from Sales > support upfront and mabilis daw.

At home we are using Converge ICT Fiber Internet 100MB Package.

If I go directly from the router to PC. (Wired connection)
I usually get around 80-90 mbps throughput. Which translates to around 10mb/s to 11.8 mb/s download speed.
For a 5GB worth of download, It usually takes around 7-10 minutes for me to fully download the said file.

I also get stable ping times when playing games.
League of Legends PH 9-10 ms
Revelation Online North American Server - 190-220ms (Stable without using any tunelling service, and rarely do I experience spikes in my ping time.)

Bottomline, I am satisfied with the said service.

Yes. I think they also offer lower options too, if i'm not mistaken then offer 20mbps for 1.5k. Which I believe is already sufficient enough.

Yes, there's no throttling if you opt for the Fiber Connection service.

We were supposed to get Converge but ultimately went with Smart Bro LTE because at the time, noone was on Converge yet.

I had qualms with their claimed speeds since it's not their hardware, but now it seems that they're the ones that offer the most consistent and cost-effective internet service in the metro.

I guess my uncle got a speed boost with his ISP. It's probably a little slow still if combined with Roku watching plus a bunch of relatives accessing the Internet all at once.

    From my laptop via WiFi:

    Smart 4G LTE:

Okay sa olrayt na sana yung speed, kaya lang it's data capped. Kahit yung unli kuno eh capped to 800MB lang. After that, can't even finish the speedtest due to the severe throttling.

^LTE is speedy indeed and for that reason a data capped promo can be enjoyed only for a short while, thats why when im on a LTE network i always prefer a time based promo such as FLEXITIME

    Hi,

I'm considering moving now to SkyBroadband 32Mbps or 64Mbps, would appreciate any feedback of current users of SkyBroadband. I presently have 5Mbps PLDT DSL, and need to get higher plan of 15Mbps or better. But the next plan of PLDT is 15Mbps at P3499. It would have been great if fiber is available as PLDT Fibr 50Mbps is only P1899. Unfortunately it is not available in my place.

So would appreciate feedback of SkyBroadband users, especially on 32Mbps or 64Mbps plan. Before I make the switch.

Pls provide your feedback as follows, for example:

My broadband plan: PLDT DSL 5Mbps at P1699
Reliability: ~2days outage in a year
Average Ping/DL/UL: 20ms/5Mbps/1Mbps around 90% of the time

    Would appreciate. Thanks a lot.
