Forget importing an LCD or Plasma screen. Like others have said, you'll lose out on the warranty... what can you do if it breaks? Ship it back? That's $$$.
Plasma and LCD screens are getting cheaper by the month here, and if you have a credit card, you can get one on a 0% installment plan, and with a warranty. Bili ka nalang dito...

Nagpadala ako ng 32" LCD Sony Bravia (yung itim), from Riyadh.

October 28th, 2006 12:32 AM #16thanks a lot for your comments, it surely help me a lot. I'm inclined now of buying this dyan na sa atin.
I'm sure maraming OFW like me na member ng tsikot.com are also planning to bring this gear sa pinas.
staind: according to this site: http://www.teleadapt.com/countrycodesN-S.php -dubai is 220V/50Hz while pinas is dual?...110/220..50/60 Hz...

Si mom-in-law nagdala ng JVC LCD TV from KSA, she got it for around PhP 60K, tapos we saw the same model here few months after being sold for 190K. 42" ata or bigger.
