MCE should be based off XP Pro without the domain functions. I don't have it here. So, I'm wondering if someone knows if it has the Backup application found in XP Pro?
As for stability, I see no difference between XP Home, Pro, or MCE. They're all fine to me.

Previous versions of Windows XP MCE were based off XP Pro. Logic says v.2005 should be too. But, it's hard to find if features of XP Pro such as dual physical cpu support and that Backup app also made it to MCE 2005.
The only definite conclusion is that MCE 2005 is much more than XP Home.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; February 4th, 2007 at 12:28 PM.
