Sa Robinson's Galleria free ang WiFi access. AFAIK eh sa Robinson's Place din sa Manila.
Metro Manila has...limited or few free WiFi hotspots. Gloria Jean's * Glorietta used to offer it for free - now, you have to pay to get access.

You can buy at the establishments where Airborne Access has hotspot - P100 for 1 hour or P300 for 5 hours.

October 2nd, 2006 12:31 PM #8Ariborne Access and Globe WiZ wifi covers most hot spots in Manila for prepaid at
Gloria jeans, Starbucks, Mocha Blends, UCC and Seattle's Best etc..
for Airborne you can only buy the Php100=60 mins. most of the time from the above.
Php 300= 5 hrs. you'll have to call Airborne customer support where its readily available
Globe only sells Php100=60 mins.
for both Airborne and/or Globe call tech support which hot spot is up and running to save time-give them an idea where you're heading so they can give nearest hot spot
Globe WiZ is always available only for Php 100 and you'd have to bring you're reading glasses to see the password and username on the prepaid card which is only printed out like the credit card receipts unlike Airborne which is on the usual prepaid card
now the next challenge is get a good idea which coffee shop has the most ac outlets available so you can plug in, power up and surf away
most of the times there are a couple of other users already staked out on choice tables next to ac outlets to smooch on free ac
nothing like a hicap battery to be really wireless
p.s. at the height of storm people had trouble getting logged since they either have proxy servers usually set up or alternate DNS settings in conflict with Airborne or Globe- know how to setup your lappy's to save timeLast edited by rlp1099; October 2nd, 2006 at 12:37 PM.
