Vic Chua of Sights and Sound is easy to deal with and gives good discount. Also Jeff Pe of Theaterworks in Trinoma is the same, also adds freebies like cables. Most recommend Plasma over LCDs when you're serious with Picture Quality. Mga 42" Panasonic plasma are down to 50K.

for me, dont buy toshiba & philips, they really have problems with some parts.

LG is also a just-okay brand. one notch lower than Samsung.

Samsung is a good brand ( make sure that you dont buy "under the table" from sales reps - they sell the display units that tend to break down easily). May mga bagong LCD tv's and Samsung though super mahal.

Panasonic is a notch higher than samsung, thus more expensive too.

Best would be Sony & Pioneer. Pioneer ang pinakamahal lang nga. Sony naman, you get high quality for the higher price.

Just saw sa Robinsons Manila, naka promo Promac LCD (locally assembled with Malaysian Parts)32". Maganda ang itsura at maraming features. Ang bilis nabenta kasi 20K lang kasi. 15 units daw ang nabenta in 5 days. Well,in fairness, I went back after 3 days in Rob manila, Id ask for the Promac LCD,ubos na daw units nila. I can check daw in other branches.

If you will ask the durability, Im not sure. Pero marami daw silang service center and may warranty yung LCD.

Sa SM Manila yesterday TCL LCD 32"(locally assembled by the former Solid Corp.) sells for 23K. maganda na rin. We have a TCL LCD, ok ang quality. More than 1 year na sa amin. An LG LCD costs around 27K, Sanyo, 25K and samsung LCD at 29K. May panasonic 30K.

Pababa ng pababa presyo talaga. dati, ang cheapest 32" LCD any brand, nasa 35K plus just last year lang.

That's the beautiful part sir. Didn't cost me a cent. When you're a Senior I.T. specialist for more than a decade and very positive ang mga feedback sayo ng mga clients or companies that acquired your service then they give you a "technical bonus." Technical bonus in my company is measured in points. The points are expendable by choosing a techie device and seeing how many points it costs. Ironic nga kasi I was one of the ergo designers of the LG Scarlett LCD.

Aba, sundalo nga ako pero remember in the US... being a serviceman is a calling. Di yan trabaho. You'll encounter servicemen/women from all walks of life mula professional athlete, carpenter, doctors, supermodels, attorneys, programmers..etc..etc. Kaya nga nagkaroon kami ng malaking problema when we overstayed in Iraq and Afghanistan kasi when most of my buddies went back home, they got the pink slip. Fortunately, sinalba sila ni Pres. Obama.
