Please suggest a good invoicing software for a small trading business. A payroll function would be a nice inclusion but not important. Thanks.

Try Quickbooks is the one I known my brother have used for years - I asked once before which one are good for business, said he have tried others but this is the best. But, dont take my word's on it perhaps some are much better than this.
The good things on quickbook, it will keep track of everything including your payroll if you have employees. You can input the the daily work sheets/orders and bill from that or - if the jobs are one or 2 days long- just bill from the time sheet. You enter the non inventory items like: Lawn Mowing along with the hourly or piece rate. Then when you invoice you just start typing LAW and the program will fill in the rest with the rate. You can over ride the rate too. They probably have a sample to try. Costco or Sam's Club would be the cheapest place to purchase here in the U.S dont know where to in the Phils.
I've been testing Quickbooks the past few days. How do I change or remove the '$' sign in the currency fields?

My wife uses Intuit Quickbooks as well.
As for software that's online and works on a browser...... Is that really a good idea? I'm squeamish just thinking about it.
No doubt about QuickBooks it has some great payroll software which are used by most businesses today, easy to use as well.
I have written a review on top payroll software outline their features and pricing, so it would really be too useful who are not too familiar with payroll software. So that they would go through the reviews, and decide which software is needed for your company.
Quickbooks is definitely the way to go.. It comes in different "Flavors" to suit your business. If you get the Premiere version you can switch it to manufacturing, retail. contranctor, professional ..etc.
There is also an add on to quickbooks (by quickbooks also" that allows you to creat/ view invoices/ estimates/ customers on your apple or adroid phone or device.
I know there is a local version of QB in the Philippines already.. it retails for about 10 or 20 k.. im not sure....
But of course if you are ok with copies coming from uhhh " other sources" ok na rin yun...
PM me if you need an active license....
