Para sakin din pang gulpihan g shock. I use mine kung sa labor intensive gagawin ko that day. Dati nasagi ng hampas ng hammer, nagasgasan lang but still working.
Can't help but love my g shock.![]()
How do you sirs maintain the water resistance of your relos? kelangan ba talaga palitan seals pag nag palit ng battery? at how much estimated cost dito sa pinas? may nabasa lang kasi ako about sa certina,na dapat palit battery with seals, in all will cost about 1/3 ng price ng watch itself!!! totoo ba ito?! :jawdrop:
Gaskets are made of rubber and do age and become brittle with time. Not sure about Certina but maybe you could check with a good watchmaker if there are alternatives to ordering from the service center, after all, it is still a Swatch brand. It should have a lot of parts available outside. You could get better answers from Phil. Watch Club or look for parts from Ofrei.
Sir, ano bang ma recommend niyong magandang watch for women? ung mga around 20-30k lang ang price range.![]()
Where can I find good priced philip steine watches for women?

2 of my watches are not going to have any wrist time coz I had them serviced.
I brought my Tag to Watchworks coz the 2nd hand started to skip up to the point that it stopped. They said that they have to clean, replace a lot of stuff inside. But it will take 4 to 6 months for the parts to arrive. Ang tagal! It will cost me 7k for the service.
Next is my Seiko Kinetic. But that would only take a week. I had it serviced last Jan and suddenly it stopped working. They said water seeped inside. I don't know how it happened.
Sana wag masira ung iba kong relo.
Believe ako sa Seiko, it has been with me for 15 yrs, this yr lang ata napalitan ung mga parts listed on the receipt.
Ung Tag naman 8 yrs na sa akin, 1st time I will have it serviced like that.
Seriously!?! Crap. I should've known this earlier. I have already committed with Watchworks so probably next time. At least now I have an alternative although it's far from my place. Probably when my Tissot needs cleaning, I will bring it there. Does he also service Seiko or he only service Swiss made? How about the warranty?
Thanks for the info, sir.
Yes sir, quartz.
That is what I initially thought too. But I still have the receipt and it showed that I replaced its battery last Jan. It's really weird that the battery will die that fast. Before it takes almost 2 yrs before it needs a new battery.
Then I brought it to Watchworks and they found out that there are parts that need to be greased/oiled/put lube or something, cleaned, replaced and it will take 4 to 6 months for those parts to arrive.
