if only i were into anime, the limited edition streetfighter series and similarly schemed naruto line of seiko 5 would be a real attraction for me.

The dealers in PWC offer the Seiko 5 Street Fighter models between 17k to 20k each. The Naruto models will be available this December.

Nice though as they are Anime-themed but for the price or even less, you can already get the Prospex Seiko models.

    Terrible lighting here right now..

Took a long hiatus from wearing watches, and lately decided to take them out again.

Nomos Glashutte are quite elegant despite their simplistic design.

It looks to be the 38mm Tangente model of the Doctors Without Borders limited edition run.

The new Seiko Sumo with the 6R35 movement with its 70-hour power reserve is really good value for around 30k+ new.

i have the seiko sea urchin, SNZF15, powered by 7S36.
    a bit heavy and bulky,
but i am amazed at its out-of-the-box accuracy.
less than 1 minute off in one week.

For a better price, you can opt for the Omega Planet Ocean.

Rolex is Rolex. And that's coming from an Omega owner.

Nothing wrong if you buy both an Omega and a Rolex. The same way you can a Panerai or Breitling or Zenith.

If you want to be different and you have the means, you can always buy Patek or AP or JLC or ALS.

Was talking in the context of Dr. D - if you've been following his posts, Rolex talaga gusto niya and this has been consistent for years. Why suggest McDonalds when he wants Jollibee.

He can enjoy both since he has the means. Why limit yourself to one choice?
