speaking of sharp edges, really wanted to get me a seiko dracula with the rubber strap but those pieces are hard to come by.

i decided to do a diy ac restart on my riseman yesterday and i finally discovered why my watch has been acting wonky these past few weeks. apparently, the battery it had in it was a non-rechargeable cr 1616 model instead of the standard ctl 1616 w/c is a requirement for most, if not all, g-shocks w/ the "tough solar" feature.

so the next step is to find me one of those ctl 1616s after this pandemic dies down. pero from what i've read it's not readily available anywhere except in authorized casio/g-shock electronic repair shops.

For my everyday watch I wear an Oris divers aquis and for parties or formal occasion a Rolex BLNR or Submariner.

Locally, these 6R35 Sumos are between 35k to 40k.

the one on the right is the LE version hence pricier.

didn’t give much attention at first since I thought they were at 42mm like their 6r15 brothers. but specs say they’re at 40mm with 20mm lug width so I now know what i want for xmas [emoji51][emoji23]

Life is short. Buy a seiko after this lockdown.

Judging from the pictures, the overhang from the watch itself seems alright.

40mm, will wear like a 47 to 48 at most.

I have turtle, specs says it is 44mm, wears like a 48 to 49.

Kung keri mo yung Mark XVIII with its ridiculous overhand na around 10mm, i'm sure you can keri this as well.

It’s like asking why A. Lange & Sohne or Audermars Piguet or Patek Philippe or Vacheron Constantin or Richard Mille is expensive.

Just asking because a huracan is only half its price.

You sound to be a veritable expert in time pieces.

I trust you can enlighten the uninitiated like me.
