    i have question.
is there really a significant difference, between japan-assembled seikos and seikos assembled elsewhere?

I don't think so doc. The quality standard is still based on seiko's internal quality standard.

However if we are talking of metallurgy I believe certain countries produce better quality of metals like Germany and Japan. Though overall it might be negligible. Just my 2 cents...

Let's wait for the experts hehe.

Some part/s of the watch have a slight differences in shade or texture. Need a magnifying lens and side by side comparison to notice it [emoji859]️*♂️

Just the markings on the movement, case, and product reference.

So far i have compared my turtle K1 to a J1, napansin ko lang is yung chapter ring ng Japan made is properly aligned.

Mine is off around 3 degrees to the left.

    parang kotse.
japan-assembled cars have a reputation, daw, of better build quality.
some colleagues give much importance to that little line at the lower 6:30 of the face edge.

Well, CBU japan doesn't automatically mean better build quality.

I believe they are the same as long as they have the same machines, robots, parameters, qc checklist, and they don't cut corners.

But hey, it's a good excuse to jack up prices for CBU japan. Hehe

Bilhan mo rin kasi ng magandang relo para di ka mapagalitan. Simulan mo sa Seiko at Orient, tapos move towards Swiss watches later on.

Now i know you really want a GS doc.

Maybe if you write to GSn they might reconsider.

It’s dope, and the mac in the backdrop shows taste of finer things.

I'm probably stuck at 3.5 right now.

Been trying very very hard not to add another swiss watch let alone a Rolex to my poor excuse of a watch collection. 🤣

One thingni learned is to channel your funds somewhere else like a business, investment, or insurance para di mo magastos sa watch.
