    the only thing i don’t like with my bambino is the odd lug width at 21mm and straps that size are hard to find

    This is my mako xl on Nato straps.from cetizens emporium. It has heft and is very versatile with the straps. Sayang lang at Maam Elena passed away already, she gives generous discounts. You can try asking for Pau. I also sourced my Oris there.

    Even the affordable models wear decently, just like the Seiko automatics. If you want some heft, get the M-Force models for around less than 20k. The M-Force models are ISO dive certified and come with sapphire glass. When worn daily, they could do around +5 seconds in accuracy.
