Don't rely on pipe color, sir. Different brands can color em differently, some green, some white, gray, yellow, etc. Go into the specs. Seek those that are for hot & cold app. I recall years back the Ph distributor of Polymutan(Germany) carried a budget PPR brand for COLD app ONLY. You'll know by ocular. COLD ONLY pipes are thinner while the thicker Hot&Cold pipes mostly are marked w/ a red line lengthwise. Please note, sir.
    Hot&Cold(w/ red) is thicker...

Anyone familiar with repairing water heaters? Theres a leak coning from the inside of the heater, maybe I can DIY it before calling the service center.img_20201022_200918.jpg

    personally,
    i'd rather not.
i am wary of DIYing these things, because the water is so very close to the electricity...

Mark where the leak is then remove water heater so you can have a better look at it ... probably just a gasket leak ...

pag ang leak ay nasa mga screwed joints lang, just re-tighten those loose connections.
pero pag ang leak ay within the confine of the copper tubing parts, kailangan na ng "expert" dyan. brazing is required, yung mga gumagawa ng aircon o radiatior ang kailangan mo. replacement is the easiest way out

Ayos ma sir. Simple fix lang, less than 5mins nagawa na nung servic center. May lumuwag lang from the plastic part due to high pressure daw. Realign lang and tighten the part ok na ulit
