    Typically, no. You will have to check the specifications of your water dispenser.

    I see models ranging from approx. 300W to 700W.

    The compressor side usually consumes 65-85W, give or take. On the Hot side, however, those that are "fast-heat" or "fast-boil" usually consumes 400-550W.

    The one we use at home (Camel), takes a while to heat (appox. 20 mins) because it only has a 190W low-power heater.
