January 16th, 2018 08:35 AM #1Good morning!
thanks

January 16th, 2018 09:04 AM #2if the AVR numbers are honest and not over-rated (continuous output and not PMPO), puede po.
but my question is, "what for?"
i have an ancient 20 year old wega at home, still running, without having had the benefit of any form of AVR.
they are not like computers, where information is lost when the power winks even a bit.
good luck.

Afaik. Voltage regulator is for trimming out voltage spikes.
Avr's are better especially servo in terms of protection.

January 16th, 2018 10:04 AM #5TS says his voltage regulator is for the computer. it's an avr.
but i have a question.
which will adequately protect our devices from voltage fluctuations: the servo-type avr, or the smaller, electronic avr associated with freebies when we buy a computer system?Last edited by dr. d; January 16th, 2018 at 10:12 AM.

Was thinking it was a power strip. Need to have coffee muna.
Mas better ang servo since compensated nya din yung dip in voltage. However, the cost might be prohibitive lalo na kung basic use lang.
Had a servo avr for 15 years until it was submerged sa baha. Sayang din.

January 18th, 2018 12:29 AM #9IIRC, mas delikado pa daw yang cheap AVR kasi dirty voltage ang output. May mga cases na sumasabog pa yan dahil cheap parts inside. Kaya nga free lang yan sa computer.
If gagamit ka ng AVR, yung servo type dapat. Ganito type lahat AVR namin sa bahay.
