why don't you convert an old pc to linux instead? you will be pleasantly surprised to see how good ubuntu runs on old hardware.

Sobrang over ka naman mag-exaggerate masyado...

Sa EEE PC SSD nga, minimum na ang 5 seconds, sa old hardware pa kaya?

Bootup includes running all services, ha, hindi iyung login prompt is shown while loading services in the background, like windows does...

Vista ko sa laptop, more than 3 minutes na pala ang bootup ngayon, hanggang sa maging acceptably usable na siya. bad bad!

Gusto ko nga eh kaso isa lang PC namin dito sa bahay and we just have different logins. What I wanted to do is to build a new PC na ako lang gagamit! hehehe! (yeah, I used Ubuntu in my former job and it was good!)
