iPad 2 prices dropped by Php5,000

Right after the announcement of the new 3rd-gen iPad, prices of the old iPad 2 have been cut by Php5,000 on the Apple Online Store. While the Apple store is ebing hammered by millions of visitors trying to make the pre-orders, the iPad 2 price on the Apple Philippine Store got a bit of an update.

The previous prices of the iPad 2 are the following:

16GB WiFi – Php23,990
32GB WiFi – Php28,990
64GB WiFi – Php33,990

16GB 3G+WiFi – Php30,990
32GB 3G+WiFi – Php35,990
64GB 3G+WiFi – Php40,990

By now, and once you are able to login to the online store, prices should have been adjusted to the following:

New iPad 2 prices:
16GB WiFi – Php18,990
32GB WiFi – Php23,990
64GB WiFi – Php28,990

16GB 3G+WiFi – Php25,990
32GB 3G+WiFi – Php30,990
64GB 3G+WiFi – Php35,990

That’s Php5,000 off of the original prices, while the SRP of the upcoming 3rd-gen iPad will take the original figures.

Heard that the 3rd gen iPad isn't really earthshaking in terms of features. So, iPad2 is still pretty good.

Better resolution, camera and 4gLTE na, not really bid deal that will make me upgrade, besides wala pa jailbreak, tagal tagal ko hinintay yun JB ng IOS 5.01 eh
