    helo guys, ask ko lang sino may experience sa inyo na may unpaid bill sa mga cellpone companies? meron kasi ako di na bayaran di ko natapos ang contract na 2 years meron pa dapat ako 5months to finish it. but tag hirap kaya lumaki utang ko 7k yung pone bill tapos +10k dahil hindi tapos ang contract may dumatin na 2 letters frm the lawyers of globe at freeze daw nila account ko at properties cars etc. ano mga ginawa nyo hakbang? broke kasi ako nagyon talaga pwede ba hulugan ko yon unti unti? thanks 4 ur inputs :freak:

    la pa naman akong experience na ganyan...write a formal letter stating your current financial condition tapos request ka na i pa restructure yung outstanding balance mo...gawing fixed amortization at kung maari wala nang interest...kapag nag offer sila ng restructuring program para sa iyo then good if not kailangan mo talagang panagutan yung contract na pinirmahan mo...goodluck

    Usually for unpaid bills like that they will turn over your unpaid account to a collection agency. These guys are masters at making your life miserable. They will call you at your office, at home. If you dont receive their call they will talk to the person on the line and tell them them stuff to embarrass you.

    Why don't you try getting an SSS salary loan, or if you're lucky enough to be from quezon, a calamity loan. It's a cheap and quick source of funds.

    Pero 'wag kang matakot sa threat na i-freeze ang bank account mo. They need a court order to do that, so they need to sue you first. And I hear that they recently raised the docket fees to 5 or 10 thousand (not sure on the exact amount), so I'm pretty sure they won't sue to recover the 7K you owe them.

    But again it's a good idea to eventually pay back the amount you owe them... baka some time later you might need a housing or car loan and your credit rating might be shot bec of the 7K unpaid debt.

    Kausapin mo na lang ang cellular carrier mo. Tell them your financial situation and maybe they can give room to breathe for an installment. Common mistakes ng may mga utang eh hindi yung pag response sa letters. Ang hindi nila alam, pinakamadali kausapin ang mga pinag-kakautangan kung kakausapin mo at sabihin sa kanila ang dahilan mo. ayaw kse nila ng uncertainty (parang economy ah) sa financial forecast nila.

    Kung may collection agency sa Pinas, malamang ipasa nila sa collections ang account mo. Then, hindi na maganda ang credit history mo. Applicable ba ang credit history sa Pinas?

    to sum it up, they can still do it if they want to. Kahit kailangan pa ng court order, how hard is it for the corporate lawyers to pull a string and ask for a court order anyway?

    kaya lang naman nadagdagan ng 10k ung bill dahil sa di mo tinapos ung contract. ako din dati nag ka utang nagng ganyan. 4k lang ung bill na di ko nabayaran for 4 months ata, kaya nga padala ng bill na 14k kasi nga di pa tapos ung contract. kaya binayaran ko agad ung 4k na utang ko. tpos ok na naman ngayon, gamit ko uli ung line.

    .....meron nang credit rating data dito sa 'pinas dahil sa paglaganap ng pag gamit ng credit card. hindi lang maganda ang sharing ng data between banks at the moment, kaya yung malakas ang loob tumakbo sa utang, iyon na lang ang sugal nila.

    .....tinaas na ang cost ng pagsampa ng asunto. kung "bibili" ng court order, kulang iyang 17mil mo dahil malaki na ang legal na suweldo ng mga huwes at milyones ang legal na retirement money na nakukuha nila-- hindi nila isusugal iyan para sa maliit na halaga lamang.

    ang punto ko dito mababa ang tsansa na ma-freeze yung bank account mo and other assets. but on the other hand, kung may assets ka, kaya mo sigurong bayaran eventually yung arrears mo.

    ang ginagawa ng iba sa ganyang sitwasyon, binibigay na lang iyong cell phone sa malapit na kaibigan or kamaganak para magpatuloy ng contracted period. 5 months na lang naman iyan. ingat ka lang na hindi balasubas ang mapasahan mo ng cell phone dahil sa pangalan mo pa rin iyong bill.

    well sa pinas ngayon may mga collection agency na magaling manakot. pero hanggang dun lang. all they want lang naman is to collect money talaga.

    i know a big bank na minsan ang kinukuha na collection agent eh pulis pa mismo. panakot lang talaga. imagine a policeman coming to your office and looking for you. the sight of that pa lang embarassing na. yan ang mga raket ng ibang pulis ngayon. instead na mangotong eh mag-sideline na lang na collection agent.

    You mentioned na may bank accounts ka na ayaw mo mafreezed so I presumed you have money, why dont you get some money in your bank account and pay them.

    Nevertheless,you are obliged to pay them as per your contract when you applied and approved. As our fellow Tsikoteers said, better talk to them and restructure your outstanding balance. But when I am to analize it ,you are afraid that they will freezed your bank accounts so i believed that you have money, common withdraw some and pay them to avoid inconvenience on your part.

    dong, ang pagkakaintindi ko sa mga penalty na ganyan, babayaran mo na ang pretermination fee bago maging current ang account mo. Sa kaso nya, 17K ang utang nya.

    hindi nya nga natapos ang contract, so automatic penalty na kahit bayaran mo pa ang current bill mo. Sana nga pwede na lang bayaran ang bill at wag na yung penalty to make the account current, pero I doubt it.

    Ang hindi pa natin alam, recently lang ba natapos ang 5 more months or matagal na tong kasong ito?

    I suggest and hope you can come up with just the P7k+ you owe Globe. Then drop by a Globe Business center and tell the CSR that you would like to reactivate your line. Thus, your term fee will be waived. You will pay P550 for reactivation fee, one month advance on MSF, and new sim card (at around P100 for the cheapest)...your line will be activated in 5 days. by doing so, term fee will be gone and you just have to continue the line until you complete your 2 years contract. diba it sounds better than paying the whole P17k.

    It will be worse in the future when you decide to get a loan.. you will be "blacklisted" in the credit rating system.

    hindi ko na ginagamit yung Globe postpaid ko... then matatapos na rin yung contract this January ata. pwede bang after Jan ipa-cut ko siya then yung payment sometime after na lang?

    nag compute kasi ako... mas mura na lang na ganun kese i pa pre-terminate ko.

    Mga 3.5K lang ang utang ko btw (plan 500).

    Bro,

    Dati nagpa cut na din ako ng line ko sa GLOBE. Requirements nila na bayaran lahat ng outstanding balance bago nila nila i - cut yung line.

    what i know is they (Network Operator) will cut your line if your contract is already expired or kung babayaran mo nga yung outstanding balance mo. Meaning continues mong babayaran yung MSF mo kahit hindi po pa ginagamit ang line mo.

    wrcastro_ph: bro..thats not true. Anytime the subs would like to cut the line. we will do so..either it has pre-termination or overdue or on good standing.

    mazda2: you got PM re your concern.

    When your contract expires, that means, a subscriber can terminate the line, downgrade the plan at anytime he/she wishes. the line will still work until such time a subs asks for termination.

    parang Skycable a padidisconnect ka dahil bad trip ka sa service pero kailangan mo pang bayaran yung disconnection fee.

    Ganon? Bakit yun ang pinagawa sakin dyan sa Tower One dati nung nagpa-cut na ko ng Line?

    I've been a subs for 3 years, then I decided to end it ... so I requested to terminate it. But the guys from GLOBE told me that I have to pay all my current bills in full. ... so.. sumunod naman ako...
    ... But Guess what? after few months eh nag apply ulit ako ng line, kaya ngayon naka subscribe na naman ako... gulo eh ano?

    Anyway, I think I should put my trust on you coz I believe that you are working with that company..... Thanks for the clarification.
