Kumusta Sun ngayon? Mas maayos na ba? Hindi kasi maasahan before, at hassle na 2 phone dala mo. :D

I'm into getting a second line (I have a postpaid SMART for 6 years na), and am looking into Sun Cellular, kasi parang sobrang sulit ito within the network. I just have one clarification regarding their ads, since am planning to get the Group Plan (GP) 899.
Ang napansin ko lang sa mga ads nila ay merong nakalagay na:
    - Sun to Sun Unlimited Call/Text Daylight time (12mn to 6pm only).
    Tapos meron ding...
    - Local Sun to Sun Unlimited Call/Text.

To me magkaiba yong Sun to Sun at local Sun to Sun.
    Here's what I understand.

Sun to Sun means as long as within the Sun Cellular Network and as long as within the Philippines.

Local Sun to Sun means as long as within the Sun Cellular Network, but should be geographically located in the same province or region, otherwise the call or txt will be charged as regular.

Please pa-share naman jan yong experience n'yo sa plans and billing n'yo. Ayaw ko kasi yong mga hidden charges pa na minsan kahit mura nakakainis lang dahil unexpected. To the point na postpaid ito maiinis ako ng 24 months.

    Thanks.

Hi sir, this is the plan i have. basically.. yung sun to sun daylight..that just means that you have unlimited call and text during those times (sun to sun), while the other is unlimited calls and text sun to sun only. when they say local...hindi po kasama if mag roaming po kayo.

basta sir..nakakatipid eto... but yung nga lang..tiyaga ka lang kasi connection is sometimes not good and sometimes you have to keep calling them back..thats why unlimited call and text. lol.

but seriously...when you apply..just tell the customer service na gusto mo CTU. CTU=call and text unlimited. so that means..no specific hours lang ang unlimited sun to sun call and text mo. you get to choose two handset as well..one handset under P350 plan and the other handset at P650 plan. yung P899 plan includes the two P350 ctu (P700); you get like P199 pesos worth sa ibang network...and i think mga 600 text to other networks..but remember..shared yan sa two lines..

hindi po ako from sun..fyi...just a user.

i expect this from sun naman eh, kaya hindi ako nagrereklamo. sabi nga eh "cheap things never good, good things never cheap"

I wish that the NTC would implement some sort of "minimum quality of service" on cellular service providers like SUN because 7 or 8 out of 10 times, the voice calls are garbled, cuts of after a few seconds or intermittently has no signal.

There are really many times I felt like throwing my sun unit out through the window because of the bad voice call quality.

    * av8or5 - maraming salamat po sa clarification. Actually gusto ko talagang kunin yong CTU para di ko na iisipin kung what time of the day or over the limit na ako sa allocation ko sa plan... I still have Smart pa naman to call other networks.

    * c-cube - buti naman sir ala ng mga hidden charges... kung plan P350 pala at di mo ginamit to other networks, 'yan na yong bill mo for the month.

    * ghosthunter - actually yon nga po sabi ng karamihan about the connection at voice quality.

Siguro try ko muna mag prepaid to test our area at least within Cavite, (around Dasma) how good (poor) is the connection and voice quality, before ma lock ako ng 24 months.
