satisfied sun user here
i'm maintaining 2 lines - for my parents and for myself. so, sun is actually my 2nd and 3rd line. no regrets. my mom, who lives in the province, calls me whenever she wants, without worrying about exceeding free minutes.
i hope sun puts up cell sites in northern samar soon.
up ko lang...
tanong ko lang kung ok na network ng sun? me promo kasi newspaper wherein you can avail 3 postpaid lines for only 1k a month. unlimited text and call pag sun to sun. parang gusto namin kumuha eh.
thanks!
Hehe.
been using my sun as a 2nd cel for almost 2 years already. not much complaints from my end. i agree w/ april_ryan, hopefully sun adds northern samar to their grid sometime soon![]()
idea is stick to a main phone (smart or globe) and have a sun cellular as back-up / 2nd phone
practical especially with family/spouse and kids - unlimited text or call
As expected wala ding signal sa critical parts ng ospital like ER, LR, RR, OR, etc.
Kung gusto mo lang makipagchikahan to sawa ok ang SUN but when lives are on the line, get something else.![]()

Been using sun for quite some time na....
Bad trip lang talaga dito sa place of work ko (near NAIA), madalas mawalan ng signal. Called the Customer Support ang sabi eh down daw site nila sa area ko. I am experiencing this about 3-4 times a month with an average of almost 24 hrs downtime....sana this can be fixed.
Still though, it's perfect for heavy texters.
